To deposit crypto into your Bits of Gold cold-managed wallet, follow these steps:
Log in to your account on the website and click “Deposit” on the main screen.
Select the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit from the list.
Enter the desired deposit amount.
Please note that you must select the correct network for the deposit, according to the type of cryptocurrency.
The wallet address to which you should deposit the crypto will be displayed on the screen. Open your external wallet app and transfer the funds to us. You can either copy the full address or scan the QR code.
That's it, you're done! Once we detect your coin transfer, the deposit process will begin. The process will be completed after verifying and approving the sender's wallet address, which usually takes one business day but depends on the network's load. In any case, you can access your wallet and check the deposit status in the recent transactions section.
Important info:
The coins will be deposited into your balance within 3 business days during our business hours, and only after we have identified and confirmed the sender's wallet address, and
Depositing coins into the managed cold wallet is free of charge, however, when selling or withdrawing the deposited coins from the wallet, a service fee is charged as specified in the costs page on the website and our Terms of Service.
Coins deposited in the managed cold wallet do not necessarily have to be converted to fiat.
